Everything begins with an idea. We started out with a brand new concept of car theft prevention in a digital way. Back in 2007, there were three friends to make it happen: a software engineer, installer, and a sales representative working in the car industry. They decided to design a system that really prevents car theft since this trend was on a rise back then. In 2008, we launched the first IGLA prototype. Today, the product is available in 33 countries around the globe.

AUTHOR’s Team has been the first to introduce the smartphone/keyfob technology enabling to use a smartphone for automatic authorization in the system. We are also proud of some other features, namely:

•Stealth and quick installation by simply connecting tiny electronic modules.
•Block the analog output of CAN, LIN, FlexRay, and other digital buses / electrical circuits.
