IGLA is a unique car security device developed to protect your car from theft and burglary. The device uses CAN-bus – standard wiring to connect with the vehicle. Moreover, due to its small size the device can be installed almost anywhere in a car. You don’t need any additional wiring or modules that could be easily found. The system can be disarmed using a fob, a smartphone or by entering a PIN-code with the standard car buttons. The digital protection used in the anti-theft systems produced by AUTHOR is truly unique and it is officially proofed with patent issued by the Federal Institute of Industrial Property.
What is the difference between a digital lock and an analogue one? Traditional analogue protection disconnects the main circuit using a relay. Hijackers find the relay on non-standard wires and characteristic clicks “by ear”, after which they close the wires directly. Digital locking is a fundamentally new solution in which wiring is not interrupted, there is no relay, and commands are transmitted at the software level. Anti-hijacking mode will be useful as a default – nobody knows what will happen after the next turn.
